I'm JT Embry. I've spent the last decade building fintech and healthtech products as an engineer and then as a lead: a greenfield SaaS product, a WebRTC portal for hospitals, a full platform migration to a new cloud, and most recently an AI tooling rollout that changed how a whole team ships.
Before that I was the help-desk guy at a bank, cleaned LiDAR sensor data for a self-driving program, and studied English literature. The through-line is the same: find where the friction is, remove it, and leave people better equipped than I found them. I measure my work by how much of it keeps running after I've stepped away.
Embry Development, LLC is the company I formed in 2026 to do that on my own terms: software and AI systems for teams and small practices, sites and automation for small businesses, and, since I put a 3D printer in the shop, the physical parts too.
I live in Louisville. When I'm not building I'm restoring a Ducati Scrambler, training a dog, reading theology, and chasing the Embry family back through the census.
